Chandra Namaskar
Chandra Namaskar is the combination of eight traditional yogic exercises(asan), first six asan are repeat twice to complete 14 movement. It can be additional beneficial to use the traditional moon name during practice. Chandra namaskar gives the same benefit as Surya namaskar. One asan are coming twice in Surya namaskar and it called Ardhachandrasan and whole movement convert in 14 times. (In Surya namaskar all movement is 12 times). 14 times movement repeat again from different side so it complete 28 times movement of one circle. Chandra Namaskar explained as below:
1. Namaskar Mudra(Namanasan                2. Prithatanasan                3.Hastpadasan

4. Aswha Sanchalan                                 5. Ardhachandrasan        6. Bhudharasan

7. Sastang Paripatasan                             8. Bhujangasan                 9.Bhudharasan

10. Aswha Sanchalan                              11. Ardhachandrasan         12. Hastpadasan

13. Prithatanasan                                    14. Namaskar Mudra


Breath circle will be same as Surya Namaskar but in Ardha chandrasan breath will be stay in.

Complete breath is:
Position 1. Normal breath
Position 2. Breath in
Position 3. Breath out
Position 4. breath in
Position 5. breath stay in
Position 6. breath out
Position 7. breath stay out
Position 8. breath in
Position 9. breath out
Position 10. breath in
Position. 11. breath stay in
Position 12. breath out
Position 13. breath in
Position 14 breath out

So, complete 5 time breath (in and out) for the one side and repeat from another side and again 5 time breath circle in complete 28 movement(from both side)

Chandra Namaskar have same benefit as well as Surya Namaskar. More additional work is on the Central Narvous System. It also work together with upper and lower back bone. It is increases also the heating system of the body and not to do with Moon somethings. It came first of all in the light through Param Pujya Swami S N Saraswati as Surya Namaskar. Yoga Rishikesh is also came from same root connection Param Pujya Swami Shivananda and Bihar School of Yoga. Swami S N Saraswati was the student of Swami Shivananda. Out of these two Yoga becomes as comercial achievment than spiritual achievment.
